Vigorous Security, commonly referred to as VSec, was established in 2019 by Mr. Eitan Caspi, a longtime Israeli information security and IT expert and manager with over 20 years of experience in these fields.

The name of the company is based on the word “Vigorous” which means energetic, lively, immune, strong – like the meaning of Eitan’s name in Hebrew.

Eitan began his career in 1995, as an IT “rookie”, as a phone tech support at Microsoft Israel’s national support center, helping clients with software such as Windows 95, Excel 5.0, Access 2.0, Project 4 and other software that now seem outdated, but at that time it was considered to be at the forefront and required a great deal of knowledge to support it on behalf of the vendor.

Since then Eitan has progressed into network administration, system management and from there, for more than 20 years, he concentrates mainly on the field of information security.
Eitan has served in a variety of positions such as a senior information security consultant in two consulting companies, a senior information security architect at a major communications company, an engineer helping to develop an information security product at a US high-tech vendor, and most recently as a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of a financial services company with over 1,000 employees and dozens of branches overseas.

In 2019, Eitan decided to open Vigorous Security with the goal of serving his clients in Israel and abroad and contributing to them from his extensive knowledge and experience, gained over decades.

Vigorous Security offers many services that will protect you, whether you are a company, public, governmental or nonprofit organization, or if you are an individual. You can also read warm recommendations Eitan has received from his clients over the years.

(By the way, since in Eitan’s view the topics of IT and Information Security are a hobby that became a profession, and still remains a hobby and love – he is active in these areas even at his leisure, studying and practicing independent and practical experience in new technologies and products, and even publishes his views and thoughts in the field of Information Security using a variety of channels, which includes a Hebrew Information Security blog called “Not safe nor sure“, a corresponding English blog called “FUD for thought“, a Facebook page in Hebrew and finally a Twitter page in English – you are invited to click on these links and be impressed with the content of these sites)
