Privacy policy - "Extensions Auto Toggle" Effective date: November 5, 2026 "Extensions Auto Toggle" is a Google Chrome extension by Eitan Caspi. It turns your other Chrome extensions on or off automatically, by the site you visit. In short Everything the extension handles stays on your computer. It sends nothing anywhere: it makes no network requests of its own, and has no servers, no account, no analytics, no telemetry and no ads. Your data is never sold, shared or transferred to anyone. The extension's Log is off by default - it records nothing until you turn it on. What the extension handles, and why All of the following is used only on your computer, only for the extension's single purpose: * Your settings - the extension groups, profiles, sites, site groups and options you create, and the time you accepted the Terms and conditions. Kept in Chrome's local storage for this extension. * The list of your installed extensions - their names, icons, IDs and on or off state, so you can choose them and the extension can switch them. It also keeps the original on or off state of the extensions it switched, so it can put them back. * The addresses of your tabs - read to decide which profile applies to the tab you use. They are used at that moment and not kept, except in the Log, if you turn the Log on. * Navigation events - the moment a tab goes to a new address, is redirected, or loads a page by GET or POST, so the extensions are switched in time. Kept only in memory, for the open tabs. * The Log - off by default. When you turn it on, it keeps records on your computer: when extensions were switched and for which address (without the part after ? or #), the changes you made to your settings, and events. It is limited to 5,000 records or 8 MB, and you can clear it at any time. * Your browsing history - only if you turn on Settings -> Browsing history, which asks Chrome for that permission. It is read only when you open Add from history or the Simulation's history list, to let you pick sites. The extension never changes or deletes your history. Turning the setting off gives the permission back. * Service workers of a profile's sites - only if you turn on that option for a profile, which asks Chrome for the browsing data permission. Then the extension removes the service workers of that profile's sites when you leave it. No other browsing data is touched. What the extension does not do * It does not read or change the content of the pages you visit - it has no script in any web page. * It does not collect personal information, passwords, payment details, messages or your location. * It does not sync your data to other devices, and does not send it to the developer or to anyone else. * It does not load any code from outside the extension. Files you create yourself A backup file, a Log CSV file or a Report file is created only when you choose to save one, and it is saved where you choose. These files may hold your settings or Log records (site addresses). What happens to them afterwards is up to you. Where your data is kept, and how to remove it Your settings and the Log are kept in Chrome's local storage for this extension, on this computer only. You can clear the Log and reset the settings in the extension. When you remove the extension, Chrome deletes its stored data. Chrome Web Store User Data Policy The use of information by this extension complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Changes to this policy If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address, with its effective date.
